Margaux Word

Margaux graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona in 2003. After graduation, she worked for Scottsdale, Arizona’s #1 ranked design firm, Est Est Inc., specialising in high-end residential projects. During this time, she obtained her NCIDQ certification.

After three years in Scottsdale, Margaux moved to Bermuda, where she worked for another high-end interior design company, creating island-inspired interiors for residents and holiday homes. The company, By Design, designed residences from the beginning construction phase to installing interior furnishings.

After Bermuda, Margaux moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she specialised in interior design for new builds and renovations.

Margaux has lived in Devonport, New Zealand, with her husband and two children since 2013, working on private projects and assisting other design and architecture firms with drafting and design. She is a member of National Kitchen & Bathroom Association NZ.
